Description

You will support delivery and ongoing development of digital solutions in the insurance industry by translating business needs into clear requirements, managing priorities and backlogs, and coordinating Scrum ceremonies. You will partner with the existing Product Owner, take ownership of delegated product areas, and act as a proxy Product Owner when needed. You will also maintain Jira projects and workflows, facilitate delivery planning activities, and proactively use AI tools to support requirements analysis and documentation.

Role description & responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, clarify, and document business and technical requirements
• Translate business needs into actionable requirements and delivery tasks
• Provide day-to-day support to the Product Owner and take ownership of delegated activities
• Act as a proxy Product Owner when needed, managing assigned product scope
• Maintain and prioritize product backlogs, scope, and delivery plans
• Prepare, coordinate, and facilitate Scrum ceremonies
• Set up and maintain Jira projects, workflows, boards, and task structures
• Coordinate operational and project-based initiatives
• Track and communicate progress, decisions, risks, blockers, and dependencies
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product, UX/UI design, and engineering teams
• Use AI tools to support requirements analysis, documentation, and UX/UI-related activities
• Ensure successful delivery of assigned responsibilities

Requirements

• Mid-level experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar product-focused role
• Professional proficiency in both French and English (mandatory)
• Practical experience with requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
• Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and Scrum practices
• Hands-on experience working with and configuring Jira
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Technical understanding to collaborate effectively with engineering teams
• Ability to work independently with strong ownership and attention to detail
• Structured, organized approach; comfort working across operational and project environments
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
• Openness to using AI tools and new technologies to improve efficiency and quality
• Insurance industry experience is a plus
