• Schedule: 80% clinical / 20% administrative

• Scope: Lead inpatient and outpatient Neurology within an integrated Brain & Spine service line

• Clinical focus (team-supported): stroke/neurovascular services, epilepsy monitoring, neurodiagnostics, neuromuscular disorders, complex spine care, pain management, and rehabilitation

Description

The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for Neurology across the region, advancing quality, outcomes, access, and patient experience. The role partners with medical and administrative leaders to support growth, recruitment/retention, workforce planning, and engagement of neurologists and APPs. This position strengthens integration between inpatient and outpatient Neurology and expands multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for Neurology across the region

• Advance quality, outcomes, access, and patient experience

• Partner on growth, recruitment, retention, and workforce planning

• Support development and engagement of neurologists and APPs

• Strengthen integration between inpatient and outpatient Neurology

• Collaborate with neurosurgery, neuroendovascular, rehabilitation, pain management, primary care, and other specialties

• Identify opportunities to expand Neurology programs and services

• Promote evidence-based practice and continuous improvement

• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and physician engagement

Requirements

• Board-Certified Neurologist

• MD or DO with completion of an accredited Neurology residency and applicable fellowship training

• ABMS board certification or certification in process

• General Neurology preferred; movement disorders, headache, or vascular neurology expertise encouraged

• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care

• Demonstrated interest in physician leadership, program development, and multidisciplinary collaboration

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Visa accepted: J-1 or H-1B
