Description

Leads cross-functional teams to drive regional, operating unit, or system initiatives, ensuring alignment, issue resolution, and delivery of virtual health projects. Develops project work plans, communication and risk management plans, workflow redesign, metrics and measurement, and ROI analysis using project management tools and PMI standards. Maintains working knowledge of telehealth policy and regulation to guide virtual health programs and collaborates with executive leaders, operations, medical groups, service lines, informatics, and digital teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, monitor, and oversee three or more concurrent projects

• Develop project work plans; establish communication and risk management plans

• Redesign workflow processes

• Develop and measure metrics

• Perform ROI analysis

• Assign tasks to team members and oversee other project managers and coordinators

• Ensure projects stay on track for deliverables and integration with other initiatives

• Guide virtual health programs using telehealth policy and regulation knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health care administration, public health administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 8 years of recent relevant experience

• Thorough knowledge of project management processes (planning, resource allocation, risk/issue management, time/financial/quality management, monitoring/reporting, documentation)

• Healthcare systems knowledge: clinical operations, care delivery models, healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS)

• Strong virtual care/telehealth experience (telehealth platforms, remote monitoring, digital health trends)

• Ability to direct, monitor, train, coach, and assign work to project staff

• Interpersonal and communication skills across disciplines

• Ability to manage deadlines, ambiguity, and change

• Ability to plan and facilitate meetings

• Lean management systems knowledge

• Ability to influence and gain cooperation through persuasion

• Conceptual/analytical/negotiation skills for moderately complex problem-solving and actionable recommendations

• Certification in digital health, telemedicine, or healthcare leadership (e.g., CPHIMS, FACHE, CMPE, Telehealth Certification Institute credentials)
