Description

You will manage web projects end-to-end—defining scope, building work plans, coordinating design and development teams, reviewing deliverables, and managing risks to ensure on-time delivery within budget. You will collaborate closely with designers, developers, SEO team members, Account Managers, and clients to deliver high-quality web solutions. The role also emphasizes usability, performance, and customer needs by clarifying requirements and success criteria.

Responsibilities

• Review and assist with project scopes considering resources, technical constraints, cost estimates, business impact, and risks
• Create and execute project work plans; revise plans as requirements change
• Support wireframes, sitemaps, and scopes of work
• Define scopes and provide clear instructions to design and development teams
• Communicate objectives, requirements, timelines, and success criteria
• Identify needed resources and assign responsibilities
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
• Review team deliverables before passing them to Account Managers
• Apply project methodology and enforce project standards
• Maintain complete, current, accurate project documentation
• Collaborate with SEO, developers, designers, and stakeholders to establish project vision
• Analyze tradeoffs among usability, performance needs, technical requirements, and client goals
• Ensure approved requirements are detailed enough to meet customer needs
• Attend client meetings as needed
• Support QA processes, documentation, and testing when required
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks
• Stay current on industry trends shaping client solutions

Requirements

• Experience with responsive design
• Proficiency using design or editing software
• Knowledge of project management software (Basecamp, MS Project, Visio, Salesforce, or similar)
• Understanding of web design standards, usability, rich media, and web project workflows
• Experience with large/complex websites and high-profile clients
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills
• Knowledge of project management methodology, including issue resolution, risk management, detailed work plans, specifications, resource allocation, and meeting management
• Ability to anticipate issues, reduce bottlenecks, and work ahead to reduce project risks
• Ability to manage many projects simultaneously
• Great attention to detail and a highly organized work style
• Availability for 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Pacific Time
