Description

You will coordinate patching and update processes to support maintenance activities while ensuring continuity of infrastructure and applications in a regulated financial/banking environment. The role includes planning service windows, monitoring environments from development to production, managing exclusions and promotion of fixes, and building automation scripts to validate components before and after maintenance. You will also create technical documentation and maintain an internal knowledge base according to change, incident, and problem management standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan maintenance/service windows and coordinate resource availability across infrastructure, software development, production support, and project teams
• Oversee the update cycle across development, test, and production; manage exclusion lists and promote patches between layers
• Create and evolve scripts (start/stop/test) to verify system component behavior before and after service work
• Produce technical documentation and develop internal knowledge base aligned with change, incident, and problem management standards

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT change coordination, IT maintenance support, or Patch/Release Coordinator-type roles; relevant IT education required
• Practical knowledge of server environments (Linux/Unix and Windows) and differentiation between test and production
• Familiarity with application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, IIS) and container-based solutions (Docker)
• Scripting skills (Shell/Bash/PowerShell), basic database knowledge
• Experience with orchestration/deployment tools (e.g., Ansible, UrbanCode or similar)
• Basic understanding of IT architecture and application/system interface security requirements
• Good, communicative English for daily work
