Description

Lead a full platform migration from LiveChat to Amazon Connect Chat for a global life-sciences client. The work includes Amazon Connect configuration for ~30 queues and ~110 users, a custom agent workspace using the Amazon Connect Streams API, Salesforce integration, bidirectional Microsoft Teams presence sync via Microsoft Graph API, SSO via Entra ID, and DynamoDB-backed runtime lookups.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test Amazon Connect contact flows, queue configurations, and routing profiles according to the Solution Architect’s architecture
• Implement and unit-test Lambda functions for Salesforce transcript push, DynamoDB lookups, and agent-availability checks
• Build the custom Amazon Connect Streams API agent workspace to spec, including chat handling, case history display, and iFrame integration of the Salesforce URL
• Implement the Microsoft Teams presence-sync intermediary component against the Microsoft Graph API
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code pipelines for Amazon Connect resources (CloudFormation/CDK where possible; document manual steps where not)
• Collaborate with the Salesforce Developer on Salesforce-side objects, REST API contracts, and validation
• Support QA with testable, documented components; participate in SIT and defect resolution
• Contribute to knowledge-transfer documentation so the client’s team can operate and extend the platform post-go-live

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Amazon Connect experience, including contact flows, queues, routing profiles, and Connect APIs/SDKs; able to build and debug contact flows independently
• Solid AWS Lambda experience with S3 trigger patterns, DynamoDB reads/writes, and REST API calls from Lambda
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js or Python for Lambda development
• Familiarity with the Amazon Connect Streams API (or ability to ramp up quickly)
• Experience integrating REST APIs and consuming/producing REST endpoints such as Salesforce and MS Graph (or similar enterprise APIs)
• Experience working in a structured delivery team with a shared backlog, code reviews, and fixed deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently once requirements are clear
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
