Lead Cloud Native Developer

Quick Facts

Lead a full platform migration from LiveChat to Amazon Connect Chat for a global life-sciences environment.

Description

Own technical delivery quality from Discovery through Build, including architecture alignment and timeline/risk management to a fixed deadline. Configure Amazon Connect, build a custom agent workspace, integrate Salesforce, sync Microsoft Teams presence, implement SSO via Entra ID (Azure AD), and support DynamoDB-backed runtime lookups. Lead hands-on implementation of the highest-risk components, run code reviews, coordinate with DevOps and QA, and deliver knowledge transfer for post-go-live operations.

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery quality from Discovery through Build; present architecture alignment to the SA and timeline/risk to the Delivery Manager.
  • Break architecture decisions into implementable work items; maintain a backlog that respects the March 1 deadline and dependency sequencing.
  • Contribute hands-on to the highest-risk components (e.g., bidirectional Teams sync, Salesforce iFrame authentication).
  • Run code reviews and enforce implementation standards across the team.
  • Identify and escalate blockers early, especially external dependencies affecting the critical path.
  • Ensure QA has testable, documented components; collaborate on end-to-end SIT test cases.
  • Lead train-the-trainer knowledge transfer so the client team can operate the platform post-go-live.
  • Coordinate with Entra ID/Azure AD provisioning and the Bedrock/Lex self-service workstream on the agent-availability API interface.
  • Lead day-to-day technical delivery across Amazon Connect developers, a Salesforce developer, DevOps, and QA.

Requirements

  • 5+ years hands-on Amazon Connect experience building and debugging contact flows, including contact flows, queues, routing profiles, and the Amazon Connect Streams API.
  • Proficiency in AWS Lambda and serverless integration using DynamoDB, S3, and EventBridge.
  • Experience leading delivery teams on time-critical AWS engagements; ability to hit fixed deadlines through sequencing and proactive risk management.
  • Salesforce integration experience, including REST API patterns and event-driven integration via Lambda/S3 triggers (or equivalent).
  • Experience with blended IaC pipelines (CloudFormation/CDK for automatable parts and manual steps where needed).
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Graph API for Teams presence/status (or ability to ramp quickly).
  • Clear communication skills to surface risks early and collaborate cross-team without direct authority.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Benefits

  • Hybrid-by-design work model; remote opportunity within Poland; possibility to work abroad up to 60 days annually; relocation options supported.
  • Career development programs, thought leadership and mentoring, soft skills and well-being programs; certification track (Anthropic, Gemini, GCP, Azure, AWS) and English classes.
  • Stable pay; Employee Stock Purchase Plan with 15% discount; health insurance and other benefits (multisport, shopping vouchers).
  • Referral bonuses up to $2,000; offices with entertainment/relaxation zones and community events.
  • Benefits are for employees only; contractor (B2B) cooperation available with terms agreed individually.
