Description

Lead a full platform migration from LiveChat to Amazon Connect Chat, including Amazon Connect configuration, a custom agent workspace, and multiple integrations. Build and extend contact flows, implement Lambda functions for CRM transcript pushing and runtime lookups, and deliver Teams presence syncing via Microsoft Graph. Support QA, testing, and post go-live knowledge transfer so the client team can operate and extend the platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test Amazon Connect contact flows, queue configurations, and routing profiles per the Solution Architect’s architecture

• Implement and unit-test Lambda functions for Salesforce transcript push, DynamoDB lookups, and agent-availability checks

• Build the custom Amazon Connect Streams API agent workspace (chat handling, case history, and Salesforce URL iFrame integration)

• Implement the Microsoft Teams presence-sync intermediary using the MS Graph API

• Contribute to IaC pipelines for Amazon Connect resources (use CloudFormation/CDK where possible; document manual steps where not)

• Collaborate with Salesforce developers on objects, REST API contracts, and validation

• Support QA with testable, documented components; participate in SIT and defect resolution

• Create knowledge-transfer documentation for post go-live operations

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Amazon Connect experience including contact flows, queues, routing profiles, and Connect APIs/SDKs

• Ability to build and debug contact flows independently

• Solid AWS Lambda experience (S3 trigger patterns, DynamoDB reads/writes, REST API calls from Lambda)

• Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js or Python for Lambda development

• Familiarity with the Amazon Connect Streams API (or ability to ramp up quickly)

• Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs such as Salesforce and Microsoft Graph

• Experience working in a structured delivery team with a shared backlog, code reviews, and fixed deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently once requirements are clear

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
