Description

Lead a full platform migration from LiveChat to Amazon Connect Chat, including Amazon Connect configuration for ~30 queues and ~110 users. Build and extend contact flows and a custom agent workspace using the Amazon Connect Streams API, and implement integrations with Salesforce, bidirectional Microsoft Teams presence sync via the Microsoft Graph API, and SSO via Entra ID. Support IaC, QA, and knowledge transfer so the client team can operate and extend the platform after go-live.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test Amazon Connect contact flows, queue configurations, and routing profiles
• Implement and unit-test AWS Lambda functions for Salesforce transcript push, DynamoDB lookups, and agent-availability checks
• Build the custom Amazon Connect Streams API agent workspace (chat handling, case history display, and iFrame integration of the Salesforce URL)
• Implement the Microsoft Teams presence-sync intermediary component using the Microsoft Graph API
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code pipelines for Amazon Connect resources using CloudFormation/CDK where possible (and document manual steps where not)
• Collaborate with Salesforce developers on Salesforce-side objects, REST API contracts, and validation
• Support QA with testable, documented components; participate in SIT and defect resolution
• Contribute to knowledge-transfer documentation for post–go-live operations

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Amazon Connect experience (contact flows, queues, routing profiles, Connect APIs/SDKs) and the ability to build/debug contact flows independently
• Solid AWS Lambda experience including S3 trigger patterns, DynamoDB reads/writes, and REST API calls from Lambda
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js or Python for Lambda development
• Familiarity with the Amazon Connect Streams API (or ability to ramp up quickly)
• Experience integrating REST APIs and producing/consuming REST endpoints such as Salesforce and Microsoft Graph
• Experience working in a structured delivery team with shared backlog, code reviews, and fixed deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently once requirements are clear
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
