Description

Lead the full platform migration from LiveChat to Amazon Connect Chat, including Amazon Connect configuration, a custom agent workspace, and integrations with Salesforce and Microsoft Teams. Own technical delivery quality from discovery through build, break architecture decisions into implementable work items, and lead hands-on work for the highest-risk components. Coordinate SSO via Entra ID and DynamoDB-backed runtime lookups, ensure testable/documented components, and run knowledge transfer so the client can operate the platform post go-live.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery quality from Discovery through Build; present architecture alignment to the Solution Architect and plan/timeline/risk to the Delivery Manager

• Translate architecture decisions into implementable work items; maintain a backlog aligned to a March 1 deadline with correct dependency sequencing

• Hands-on development for high-risk areas (e.g., bidirectional Teams sync, Salesforce iFrame authentication)

• Run code reviews and enforce implementation standards across the team

• Identify and escalate blockers early, especially external dependencies (Entra/Azure AD app registration, Salesforce access, Bedrock API contract)

• Ensure QA has testable, documented components and collaborate on end-to-end SIT test cases

• Lead train-the-trainer knowledge transfer for post-go-live operations

• Coordinate with Entra ID/Azure AD provisioning and Bedrock/Lex self-service teams on the agent-availability API interface

• Lead day-to-day technical delivery across a multi-discipline team (Amazon Connect developers, Salesforce developer, DevOps, QA)

Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on Amazon Connect experience (contact flows, queues, routing profiles, Amazon Connect Streams API); must be able to build and debug contact flows directly

• Proficiency in AWS Lambda and serverless integration including DynamoDB, S3, and EventBridge

• Experience leading delivery teams on time-critical AWS engagements with fixed-deadline sequencing and proactive risk management

• Salesforce integration experience using REST API patterns and event-driven integration (e.g., Lambda/S3 triggers)

• Ability to work with blended IaC pipelines (CloudFormation/CDK where possible; manual where needed)

• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API (Teams presence/status) or ability to ramp quickly

• Clear, direct communication skills in English (B2+), able to surface risks early and collaborate across teams
