Description

Lead the migration from LiveChat to Amazon Connect Chat by owning technical delivery quality from discovery through build. Configure Amazon Connect, build a custom agent workspace, implement Salesforce integration, sync Microsoft Teams presence, and set up SSO via Entra ID—backed by DynamoDB runtime lookups. Ensure QA-ready, well-documented components and lead knowledge transfer so the client team can operate post-go-live.

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery quality from Discovery through Build; present architecture alignment and manage timeline and risk
• Translate architecture decisions into implementable work items; maintain a backlog reflecting the March 1 deadline constraint and dependency sequencing
• Contribute hands-on to highest-risk components (e.g., bidirectional Teams sync, Salesforce iFrame auth)
• Run code reviews and enforce implementation standards across the team
• Identify and escalate blockers early, especially external dependencies
• Ensure QA has testable, documented components; collaborate on end-to-end SIT test cases
• Lead knowledge transfer using a train-the-trainer model for post-go-live operations
• Coordinate with Entra ID/Azure AD provisioning and Bedrock/Lex teams on the agent-availability API interface
• Lead day-to-day technical delivery across a multi-discipline team (Amazon Connect developers, Salesforce developer, DevOps, QA)

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Amazon Connect experience (contact flows, queues, routing profiles, Amazon Connect Streams API); must be able to build and debug contact flows
• Proficiency with AWS Lambda and serverless integration using DynamoDB, S3, and EventBridge
• Experience leading delivery teams on time-critical AWS engagements; meet fixed deadlines via sequencing and proactive risk management
• Salesforce integration experience using REST API patterns and/or event-driven integration with Lambda/S3 triggers
• Experience with blended IaC pipelines (CloudFormation/CDK plus manual procedures where needed)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API for Teams presence/status, or ability to ramp quickly
• Clear communication skills; surface risks early and collaborate across teams without direct authority
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
