Description

Serve as the primary contact to veterans for transportation needs and coordinate transportation service workload through scheduling, data collection, tracking support, consult management, and program support. Perform daily data collection and basic analysis, ensure accurate document review and data entry, and generate reports using VA/clinical systems. Coordinate practices that decrease wait times and delays across specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Consult management and appointment/admissions scheduling

• Collect, compile, and track daily transportation/service data and statistics

• Conduct basic data analysis and generate reports

• Review documents/reports/applications for omissions and inconsistencies; ensure complete and accurate data entry

• Enter information into automated tracking systems

• Coordinate service practices to reduce waits and delays

• Use VISTA, CPRS, or SharePoint consult/request tracking tools to process internal consultations

• Plan and direct how work is accomplished for the VTS program (including workload forecasting, reporting, and operational flow)

• Coordinate day-to-day VTS program flow, processes, and functions

• Provide support services such as electronic records management, driver scheduling setup/management, and space utilization

• Advise managers on how provided services support mission and program goals
