Description

You will lead business projects from initiation through planning and execution to implementation and closure, coordinating with business units, IT, and external suppliers. The role includes aligning project goals, scope, schedule, and budget; reporting status; and proactively identifying and escalating risks with corrective actions. You will also manage project documentation and oversee project settlement (costs, invoices, and budget utilization).

Responsibilities

• Run business projects end-to-end (initiation → planning → delivery → implementation → closure)

• Coordinate priorities, monitor progress, and manage dependencies between tasks and involved areas

• Define and align goals, scope, timeline, budget, and expected results with client subject-matter experts

• Provide project status reporting; identify and escalate risks; prepare recommendations and corrective actions

• Oversee project settlement: verify costs and invoices and monitor budget usage

• Create and maintain project documentation according to the client’s standards

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading business projects for new product implementation and/or sales process or product/process improvements involving business, IT, and external vendors

• Practical knowledge of project management methodologies and standards, especially PRINCE2 and Agile, with the ability to tailor the approach

• Minimum 3 years delivering projects in the financial sector with knowledge of banking products, processes, and constraints

• Experience independently managing a project budget, including cost verification, invoices, and settlement documentation

• Fluent Polish

• Willingness for occasional project meetings in Warsaw (approximately 1x per week)
