Description

You will advise banks and insurers on transaction-oriented transformations (e.g., IT architecture, data separation, migrations) and the development of digital ecosystems (e.g., IT strategy and new sales channels such as apps). The role includes market analyses and strategic reviews such as due diligence, synergy assessments, carve-outs, integrations, and restructurings. You will also support customers with API strategy (from interface architecture and API frameworks to backend operational processes) and cloud-native architecture development and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Consult on transaction-based transformation topics: IT architecture, data separation, migration
• Lead/perform market analyses and strategic reviews: due diligence, synergy assessments, carve-outs, integrations, restructurings
• Develop and advise on API strategy: target interface architecture, selection of API frameworks, backend operational processes
• Design and assess cloud-native architectures: container frameworks, scaling and security strategies, infrastructure sourcing concepts, IT development processes
• Support initiatives in payments, digital banking ecosystems in the API economy, and digital identity; participate in meetups, hackathons, conferences, and startup/investor/digital-unit exchange

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable program
• First experience via internship or working student role in Business, IT, or Operations in consulting or financial services (bank, insurer, fintech, or similar)
• Very strong communication in both German and English (C1 or higher)
