Description

Lead product design from early discovery through launch and iteration for trading experiences across responsive web and native mobile. You will simplify complex, data-intensive financial workflows while ensuring cohesive interaction design, strong visual clarity, and accessibility. Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams and use storytelling and AI-augmented workflows to deliver inclusive, high-quality experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product design from discovery through launch and iteration

  • Design cohesive interactions for responsive web and native mobile, with attention to layout, typography, color, motion, and user interaction

  • Simplify data-intensive trading workflows without losing precision

  • Use and evolve the design system to create consistent, scalable patterns and components

  • Partner with product managers, software developers, researchers, content strategists, accessibility specialists, and business partners in an Agile environment

  • Facilitate problem framing and ideation; communicate a clear design point of view using rationale and storytelling

  • Lead cross-disciplinary UX efforts, identify risks early, and help teams navigate ambiguity

  • Champion accessible, inclusive, high-quality experiences at every stage

  • Get to know client motivations and the moments where complexity gets in the way

  • Balance progress with craft through iteration

  • Build trust by setting clear expectations, inviting feedback, and adapting with new information

  • Leverage AI tools to augment and accelerate the UX process

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product design experience with digital products, supported by an online portfolio showing process and design thinking

  • 1+ year experience with touch-based mobile interfaces

  • Experience designing data-intensive applications; background in financial services and ideally brokerage platform knowledge

  • Deep knowledge of user-centered design: research, flows, wireframes, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and content specifications

  • Experience running design sessions with cross-functional teams

  • Experience designing accessible solutions and participating in accessibility testing

  • Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary Agile teams and facilitating cross-functional design sessions

  • Fluency with Figma and modern design systems

  • Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Figma Make, MCPs, Vercel, or similar) into the design process

  • Currently authorized to work in the United States full-time without employer sponsorship
