Description

Coordinate and maintain the airline’s readiness for extraordinary, crisis, and emergency situations in line with civil aviation requirements. Manage and develop the Emergency Response Planning (ERP) system, including crisis-event coordination and support for recovery after operational disruption. Create, manage, and update emergency, crisis, and security plans, while implementing Aviation Security procedures per EU and national legislation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure preparedness for extraordinary, crisis, and emergency situations
• Manage and develop the Emergency Response Planning (ERP) system
• Coordinate actions during incidents and crisis situations, including recovery support
• Create, manage, and update emergency, crisis, and security plans
• Implement Aviation Security procedures in line with EU and national legislation
• Conduct security analyses, assess threats, and perform risk assessments for protection against unlawful acts
• Identify security risks in airline operations, propose mitigation measures, and monitor effectiveness
• Organize, coordinate, and evaluate crisis and security exercises; implement corrective measures
• Analyze the effectiveness of crisis management and readiness based on drills, audits, and real events
• Cooperate closely with airports, ground handling providers, airport security units, and other aviation service providers
• Coordinate security and crisis processes for the home airport and destination network airports
• Coordinate activities between operational departments, crisis teams, airports, service providers, and external partners
• Collaborate with the Civil Aviation Authority, Prague Airport, Police of the Czech Republic, Customs Administration, and IZS units
• Support communications during incidents together with state authorities, IZS units, and aviation authorities
• Organize and deliver specialized trainings for employees on crisis management and civil aviation protection
• Maintain records of security findings, identify risks, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions
• Conduct internal controls, inspections, and quality-control activities for Aviation Security
• Support preparation for internal and external audits and inspections by aviation authorities

Requirements

• Completed secondary education with a high school graduation exam; university degree is an advantage
• Active Czech and English (written and spoken)
• Advanced MS Office, especially MS Excel; data work and report creation are an advantage
• Interest in civil aviation, crisis management, and security protection
• Independent decision-making, analytical thinking, and systematic problem-solving
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Stress tolerance and ability to work effectively in time-critical operational situations
• High responsibility, reliability, and integrity
• No criminal record and ability to pass required reliability checks
• Ability to understand airport/airline environment is an advantage
• Familiarity with civil aviation regulatory requirements and security processes
