Description

Provide flight operations execution and operational procedure support for satellite missions, including development, validation, pre-launch testing support, and anomaly response with escalation and contingency handling. Work includes shifts, especially during LEOP.

Responsibilities

• Execute operations on satellites by running flight operations procedures in the control center
• Participate in development of operations procedures: coding and validation
• Assist in testing the operational system during pre-launch phase: System Validation Tests with satellite or simulator or flat satellite; ground segment validation tests
• Respond to satellite anomalies by escalating issue and once approved run contingency procedures

Requirements

• Experience of working in a control center (space or other industry) or experience in aerospace tests activities (equipment or SW); at least 3 years
• Fundamental technical understanding in at least one of the following domains: avionics, electrical engineering, electronics, thermal control, software
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Very good English in speaking and writing
• Be willing to work in shifts, especially during satellite LEOP
• Be willing to follow training to be prepared for flight operations scenario
