Description

Support, monitor, and continuously improve customers’ IT infrastructures. You will help administer Windows and Linux systems, work with Microsoft infrastructure (Active Directory, Group Policy/GPOs, Terminal Server, and Windows client environments), and handle incidents and service requests via a ticketing system. You’ll document work thoroughly and contribute to customer projects from preparation to implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Support, monitor, and further develop customers’ IT infrastructures

  • Administer and maintain Windows and Linux systems

  • Work with Microsoft infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy, GPOs, Terminal Server, and Windows client environments

  • Analyze and process incidents and service requests in the ticketing system

  • Perform error analysis and drive sustainable problem resolution

  • Provide customer support via remote maintenance and, depending on the task, onsite

  • Communicate clearly and understandably with customers and colleagues

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and change documentation

  • Participate in customer projects from preparation through implementation

  • Depending on experience, take on own partial tasks and technical responsibilities in projects

Requirements

  • Enrolled in IT, business informatics, or a comparable technical program

  • Self-directed, structured, reliable, and pragmatic working style

  • Enjoy analyzing technical problems and solving them sustainably

  • First practical experience with Windows and/or Linux systems

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure, Active Directory, and networking (preferred)

  • Clear and professional communication with customers

  • Careful, traceable documentation of work

  • Willingness to get up to speed on new technical topics
