Description

You will ensure a stable and high-performing IT infrastructure by administering Windows Server systems and ESX servers, supporting network components, and managing endpoint availability and update status. The role includes building and maintaining access/right models in Active Directory and EntraID, performing structured patch management, and analyzing incidents and vulnerabilities. Automation using PowerShell and SQL scripts is a key part of the work.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, install, and administer Windows Server systems and ESX servers

• Configure, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure components

• Organize and administer ~200 endpoints (PCs, notebooks, mobile devices)

• Design and implement rights and role models; manage users and groups in Active Directory and EntraID

• Plan, roll out, and track patch management updates for servers, clients, and applications

• Analyze system issues and vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions

• Create and maintain PowerShell and SQL scripts for automation and reporting/support

Requirements

• Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable qualification; alternatively a degree in computer science, business informatics, or similar

• Solid experience administering complex IT systems, especially Windows Server and virtualization

• Knowledge of Active Directory (users, groups, permissions) plus practical experience with Microsoft 365

• Safe use of PowerShell and basic SQL knowledge for automation and reporting

• Structured, solution-oriented, and team-oriented working style with high personal responsibility

• Strong analytical thinking and interest in current IT and security topics; willingness for continuous technical development
