Description

You will manage and support the company’s IT infrastructure—servers, networks, and end devices—so that everything runs reliably. The role includes Windows and Linux administration, virtual environment management (e.g., VMware), and security administration using firewalls and VPNs. You will also support Microsoft 365 and take part in IT projects while documenting IT processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer servers, networks, and end-user devices

• Act as first point of contact for IT questions and issues (1st & 2nd level)

• Install, configure, and manage hardware and software

• Maintain security through firewalls and VPNs

• Administer Windows and Linux systems and virtual environments (e.g., VMware)

• Support Microsoft 365 and contribute to cloud/collaboration projects

• Document IT processes and systems clearly

Requirements

• Completed training or degree in Informatics/IT System Administration or equivalent

• Ideally 2+ years of experience in IT administration, networking, and user support

• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux systems

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN

• Knowledge of cloud solutions, especially Microsoft 365 and Azure

• Structured, independent, and team-oriented working style

• Good German skills; English is a plus

• Service-minded and solution-oriented approach to problems
