Description

You will help ensure stable and secure operation of the company’s client and endpoint landscape and continuously develop the solutions in use. The role includes administering Windows workstations and mobile endpoints, managing standardized client images, and applying security, patch management, and hardening policies. You will also support incident handling and participate in Modern Workplace and automation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure stable, secure operation of the full client and endpoint environment and drive continuous improvements
  • Administer and support Windows desktops, notebooks, thin clients, mobile devices, and related peripherals via centralized management tools
  • Design, roll out, and maintain standardized client images (installation, configuration, OS and standard application updates)
  • Implement and monitor endpoint security, patch management, and hardening policies in coordination with IT security stakeholders
  • Analyze, prioritize, and resolve incidents and service requests for workplace and endpoint topics with the IT Support team
  • Contribute to IT projects related to Modern Workplace, endpoint management, and automation, including documenting systems and processes

Requirements

  • Completed IT training or comparable qualification with a focus on system administration or IT specialist training
  • Several years of practical experience administering Windows clients/endpoints and peripheral devices in an enterprise environment
  • Solid knowledge of tools for client management, software distribution, patch management, and endpoint security
  • Secure handling of Microsoft technologies: Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and standard Office software
  • Understanding of IT service processes; ideally experience with ticket systems and structured incident and change management
  • Strong service orientation, structured and independent working style, and teamwork with internal users and IT colleagues
  • Good German skills and basic English skills in spoken and written communication
