Description

Lead product design work for the Growth team, optimizing the customer funnel, onboarding/new user experiences (NUX), and personalization for guided flows to improve conversion and adoption. You’ll leverage AI to deliver personalized customer experiences and translate research and experimentation into testable design ideas. Partner with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, build, and ship user-friendly, business-driven products for SMB users.

Responsibilities

  • Embed with the Growth team to help define the roadmap, vision, and lead design work
  • Own design work for funnel optimization, NUX, and personalization for guided flows
  • Leverage AI to create personalized customer experiences
  • Design growth systems, experiments, and new product features; translate quantitative and qualitative insights into testable ideas
  • Champion designs that deliver a seamless, easy, delightful experience for SMB users
  • Facilitate workshops to develop winning ideas
  • Distill complex information into simple, beautiful user experiences from brainstorming to high-fidelity design delivery
  • Build strong relationships with interdisciplinary teams to conceptualize, build, and ship products
  • Participate in UX research (with or without a UX Researcher) and apply insights to designs; represent the voice of the customer
  • Share ideas, manage stakeholder feedback, challenge assumptions, and advocate for users with best practices

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional design experience
  • 4+ years on Growth teams or in ecommerce and merchandising, with work driving gains in conversion, basket price, and product adoption
  • Portfolio showcasing high-quality work directly impacting project success
  • Experience designing onboarding and merchandising surfaces
  • Comfort with iterative experimentation, including A/B testing
  • Ability to identify, conduct, and synthesize UX research and testing independently
  • Strong ability to balance craft and critical thinking with business needs in fast-paced environments
  • Focus on psychology and why people behave the way they do (behavioral science is a plus)
  • Ability to connect work to broader team goals and communicate effectively via explorations, research, documentation, and presentations
  • Deep understanding of best practices and contemporary design patterns
  • (Nice to have) Experience with B2B companies serving SMBs
