• Title: Staff Product Designer

• Location/Work style: Hybrid in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York; 3 days per week in office (Mon/Wed/Thu) plus up to 4 weeks per year remote

Description

Work with Product and Engineering teams to communicate, evolve, and execute a strong product design standard. Help set both short- and long-term design direction, maintain high visual standards, and keep a strong focus on user needs while driving product launches. Take an owner’s mentality across vision, execution, and operational readiness for onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute the team’s design initiatives and vision

• Challenge the status quo and push innovation toward unified outcomes

• Ship products that deliver impact for business and customers

• Partner with leadership to communicate concisely and influence product and design outcomes

• Work across the business stack, tying up execution details and ensuring operational onboarding support

• Help grow and scale design across the broader company and within the Design org

• Maintain a high design bar and high execution quality

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Data teams to define and launch new products and features

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; articulate strategy and process and lead cross-functional meetings

• Cross-functional experience with engineering, marketing, design, and product management teams

• Ability to craft clear narratives and communicate vision to align teams

• Passion for building and developing teams

• 10+ years of product design experience

• Experience building customer-facing products from 0 to 1

• Expected salary range: $240,000–$300,000 (equity and other compensation may be included in total package)
