Description

The Territory Account Manager promotes, educates, and contracts iovera°, a cryoneurolysis device designed to provide immediate and long-lasting relief of acute and chronic pain. The role drives territory revenue by executing a business plan, engaging key hospital stakeholders, training internal teams, and supporting commercial strategies with cross-functional partners. Travel up to 50% is required.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve defined sales goals by selling through a value-based model into hospital, ASC, and pain clinic settings
  • Serve as an expert on the iovera° system, workflow, and procedure; communicate product value effectively
  • Provide subject matter expertise and training to the sales force on product, treatment, and sales process
  • Develop a territory business plan and identify target markets using hospital operations knowledge and analytics reporting tools/dashboards
  • Engage key stakeholders (orthopedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, C-suite, administration) to align workflow, optimal product usage, pricing, and contracting
  • Identify, develop, educate advocates, and expand the user base via a consultative selling approach
  • Stay current on clinical data and present/interpret it with healthcare professionals during presentations
  • Set iovera° strategy and tactics with the Regional Director for aligned region opportunities and goals
  • Update and document sales account information in CRM
  • Collaborate with sales partners to progress opportunities in targeted territories and strategic accounts
  • Own account strategy and determine how accounts are managed in context of other portfolio products
  • Drive marketing initiatives and share marketing materials for product promotion and customer education
  • Manage large orthopedic and anesthesia groups and influencers
  • Coordinate with Medical Affairs to support training of iovera° users as needed
  • Partner with internal cross-functional stakeholders (Senior Leadership, Marketing, Health Outcomes, Alliance Management) to develop commercial strategies and plans
  • Manage expense budgets and comply with relevant compliance, government, and reporting standards
  • Partner with joint reconstruction teams for synergistic opportunities

Requirements

  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 2 years of direct selling experience to hospitals or ASC (ASC experience preferred)
  • Minimum 4 years of proven results in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industry (education + experience considered)
  • Ability to timely and accurately complete hospital credentialing requirements to gain facility access
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Live in the designated geographic territory (primarily New York City; additional coverage includes NY State and parts of New Jersey)
  • Excellent English oral, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Travel up to 50% with overnight travel required
