Description

Own a defined territory and create new business with small and mid-sized companies through cold calling, door knocking, and in-person meetings. You’ll position AT&T solutions across wireless, fiber, internet, voice, software defined networking, and cybersecurity while identifying customer challenges and building solutions. Manage opportunities end-to-end from prospecting through close, implementation handoff, and follow-up.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new logos via provided prospect lists using cold call, door knock, email, referrals, networking, and local market research
  • Set appointments, qualify prospects, and advance opportunities through the sales process
  • Own and execute a market plan for a defined geographic territory to achieve consistent quota performance
  • Sell across a broad business portfolio and serve multiple business verticals (e.g., retail, professional services, healthcare, construction, logistics, hospitality)
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting/discovery through proposal, negotiation, close, implementation handoff, and follow-up
  • Maintain disciplined CRM activity in Salesforce: calls, visits, appointments, opportunities, next steps, and forecast updates

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of quota-carrying outside acquisition sales experience
  • Proven success acquiring new business through prospecting, cold calling, referrals, appointment setting, and disciplined follow-up with customers, using Salesforce
  • Comfort spending significant time in the field visiting businesses and building relationships with owners and decision-makers
  • Strong business acumen to uncover needs and map them to AT&T’s product portfolio
  • Confidence handling objections and negotiating to advance opportunities toward close
  • Self-disciplined approach to manage daily activity, Salesforce updates, pipeline health, and quota expectations
  • Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
