Description

The Pain Regional Account Manager provides flexible, high-impact field coverage across the Pain Business Unit to address territory vacancies, leaves of absence, and priority business needs. The role is deployed dynamically to maintain business continuity, assume account ownership (including PTAM or TBM responsibilities when needed), and execute against commercial objectives with limited ramp time. When not covering vacancies, the manager supports surge initiatives, account recovery, and new-hire onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Provide immediate coverage across assigned regions in response to vacancies, leaves, and other priority needs

  • Step into PTAM or TBM coverage with limited ramp time and assume full ownership of customer engagement and account execution

  • Execute territory planning and pull-through activities while deployed

  • Support structured handoffs when entering and exiting assignments to maintain continuity

  • Conduct rapid assessment of new territories and accounts to identify priorities, risks, and opportunities

  • Maintain continuity of business performance during coverage and support recovery efforts

  • Use Veeva and other approved systems to document activity, customer interactions, account plans, and territory updates

  • Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, health systems, and institutional stakeholders

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commercial Operations, Training, Marketing, Market Access, Medical, etc.) to support execution

  • Stay ready through completion of deployment-readiness training and remain current on product, disease state, compliance, access, and customer engagement expectations

  • Support new-hire onboarding through territory knowledge transfer and field-based coaching
