Description

Serve as the primary customer contact for cardiovascular products by providing clinical knowledge to healthcare professionals and helping them navigate a complex payer environment. Implement the territory marketing strategy and promote products as directed by the District Manager. Drive appropriate utilization through educational programs and relationship management while keeping patient impact at the forefront.

Responsibilities

  • Provide current, comprehensive knowledge of products and communicate clinical benefits to drive appropriate utilization
  • Lead sales to achieve territory sales by delivering branded messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling and following up on medical education, and meeting/exceeding sales targets (in-person and virtual)
  • Develop relationships to service and manage accounts: tailor discussions to customer needs, ensure product access, resolve or triage reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts
  • Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze business effectiveness and territory performance; develop territory plans with the District Manager
  • Partner with colleagues to share best practices and continuously learn
  • Sustain product and brand passion throughout the sales cycle, emphasizing patient impact
  • Uphold company values and operate ethically, collaboratively, and with accountability

Requirements

  • Specialty Representative: Bachelor’s degree OR Associate degree and 4 years sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years sales experience
  • Senior Specialty Representative: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years sales experience and/or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field (non-sales) OR Associate degree and 6 years sales and/or clinical experience (non-sales) OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years sales and/or clinical experience (non-sales)
  • Ability to communicate clinical product benefits to medical professionals
  • Ability to achieve territory sales targets through branded messages and planned medical education programs
  • Ability to manage accounts, including reimbursement issue resolution/triage and maintaining product contracts
  • Work effectively in both in-person and virtual engagement

  • Base salary range (U.S., excluding Puerto Rico): Specialty Representative $89,816–$121,602; Senior Specialty Representative $109,631–$148,325 (actual varies)
