• Focus: Functional architecture, end-to-end solution architecture, and cross-system interactions

• Location: Spain (nearshore) or UK; remote flexibility within Poland

Description

As a Solution Architect, you will work on the functional architecture of applications and how they interact with other systems across the architecture landscape for a client group and third parties. You will own end-to-end solution architecture, create Solution Design Documents (SDDs), and align complex architectures to roadmaps. You will also support migration/decommissioning from legacy technologies to new technologies and remove obsolescence.

Responsibilities

• Apply domain expertise and Decision-Driven Design to create Solution Design Documents (SDDs)

• Own end-to-end Solution Architecture and coordinate input from other architecture disciplines

• Document complex As-Is / Transition / Target Architectures aligned to associated roadmaps

• Support migrating/decommissioning legacy technologies to new technologies and eliminate obsolescence

Requirements

• 3–5 years of Solution Architecture experience

• Experience in IT systems design and solution architecture in financial institutions (retail or corporate)

• Ability to create practical, workable architectures aligned with IT principles/standards and governance

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Ability to collaborate and communicate complex concepts

• Experience diplomatically challenging and influencing diverse stakeholders

• Demonstrated ability to manage risks in a highly regulated business environment
