• Focus: Functional architecture and end-to-end solution design across client group and third parties

Description

As a Solution Architect, you will work on the functional architecture of applications and how they interact with other systems in the architecture landscape. You will own end-to-end solution architecture, create Solution Design Documents (SDDs), and produce As-Is / Transition / Target architectures aligned to roadmaps. You will also support migrating and decommissioning legacy technologies to new technologies and removing obsolescence.

Responsibilities

• Apply domain expertise and decision-driven design
• Create and maintain Solution Design Documents (SDDs)
• Own end-to-end Solution Architecture and coordinate inputs from other architecture disciplines
• Document complex As-Is / Transition / Target Architectures aligned to associated roadmaps
• Guide migration and decommissioning from legacy to new technologies and remove obsolescence

Requirements

• 3–5 years of Solution Architecture experience
• Experience in IT systems design and solution architecture in financial institutions (retail or corporate)
• Ability to create practical, workable architectures aligned to IT principles/standards and follow governance
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate complex concepts (written and verbal)
• Ability to diplomatically challenge and influence diverse stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to handle ambiguity with resilience, drive clarity and agreement, and learn fast
• Organizational and prioritization skills across competing demands
• Initiative and calm risk-aware behavior in a highly regulated environment
