• Focus: Functional architecture and integration across client group and third parties
• Location: Spain (nearshore) or UK

Description

You will work on the functional architecture of applications and how they interact with other systems in the architecture landscape across the client group and third parties. The team shares reusable patterns and solutions through an architecture community. In this role you will apply decision-driven design, create Solution Design Documents (SDDs), and lead end-to-end solution architecture aligned to roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Apply strong domain knowledge and Decision Driven Design to produce Solution Design Documents (SDDs)
• Own end-to-end Solution Architecture, coordinating input across architecture disciplines
• Document complex As-Is / Transition / Target architectures aligned to associated roadmaps
• Plan migration and decommissioning from legacy technologies to new technologies, including removing obsolescence

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Solution Architecture experience
• Experience in IT Systems Design and Solutions Architecture in financial institutions (retail or corporate)
• Experience creating practical, workable architectures aligned with IT principles/standards and governance
• Ability to communicate complex concepts in written and verbal form in English
• Ability to diplomatically challenge and influence diverse stakeholders
• Collaboration skills and risk management in a highly regulated environment
