Description

You will work on functional architecture for applications and how they interact with other systems across the enterprise architecture landscape and third parties. Responsibilities include creating Solution Design Documents (SDD), owning end-to-end solution architecture, and translating complex as-is/transition/target architectures into delivery roadmaps. You will also guide migration and decommissioning from legacy technologies to new platforms while removing obsolescence.

Responsibilities

• Apply decision-driven design and domain expertise to produce Solution Design Documents (SDD)

• Own end-to-end solution architecture and coordinate inputs from other architecture disciplines

• Document complex as-is/transition/target architectures aligned to roadmaps

• Plan and support migration and decommissioning from legacy technologies to new technologies

• Contribute to an architecture community by sharing reusable patterns and solutions

Requirements

• 3–5 years of Solution Architecture experience

• Experience in IT Systems Design and Solution Architecture in financial institutions (retail or corporate)

• Experience creating workable architectures aligned to IT principles/standards and governed processes

• Strong collaboration and ability to communicate complex concepts (written and verbal)

• Demonstrated ability to diplomatically challenge and influence stakeholders

• Strong English written and verbal communication
