Description

As a Solution Architect, you will own the end-to-end solution architecture, including functional architecture of applications and how they interact across the architecture landscape for client groups and third parties. You will apply domain expertise and decision-driven design to create Solution Design Documents (SDDs), document As-Is/Transition/Target architectures aligned to roadmaps, and guide migration/decommissioning from legacy technologies. Collaboration and clear English communication are key in this regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Create Solution Design Documents (SDDs)
• Own end-to-end Solution Architecture and coordinate input across architecture disciplines
• Document complex As-Is / Transition / Target Architectures aligned to roadmaps
• Drive migration/decommissioning from legacy to new technologies and remove obsolescence

Requirements

• 3–5 years of Solution Architecture experience
• Experience in IT Systems Design and Solutions Architecture within Financial Institutions (retail or corporate)
• Ability to create practical, workable architectures aligned with IT principles/standards and governance
• Strong written and verbal English communication
• Ability to diplomatically challenge and influence stakeholders
• Strong domain and decision-driven design capabilities
• Risk management experience in a highly regulated environment
