Description

You will own the full accounting flow from order and revenue through payment and bank reconciliation, ensuring correct capture in accounting across e-commerce, B2B, and retail. The role includes reconciling payment gateways and banking payments, matching payouts and settlements, resolving unassigned payments and discrepancies, and maintaining accurate accounts receivable (including aging and overdue items). You will also support monthly and annual closings and help automate revenue & payment reconciliation processes in Odoo.

Responsibilities

• Verify complete and correct accounting of e-commerce, B2B, and retail revenue
• Review issued invoices, credit notes, refunds, and returns and ensure proper accounting treatment
• Reconcile payment gateways, bank transfers, top-ups, and other payment methods
• Reconcile payouts from payment providers against orders and bank accounts, including related fees
• Investigate and resolve unmatched payments, discrepancies, and clearing account differences
• Monitor accounts receivable, perform matching, manage AR aging, and handle open or overdue items
• Reconcile B2B and retail partners and communicate to resolve discrepancies
• Validate that retail sales and payments match across POS, payment terminals/cash, Odoo ERP, and bank
• Review refunds/returns and retail store discrepancies
• Participate in monthly and annual closing processes for revenue, payments, and AR
• Identify differences between e-shop, POS, payment providers, Odoo, and bank and drive their resolution
• Support automation and continuous improvement of revenue & payment processes

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting, revenue accounting, accounts receivable, or a similar function
• Understanding of the full accounting flow from order/revenue through payment to bank and accounting records
• Experience in payment matching and reconciliations; ability to independently find the root cause of differences
• Familiarity with revenue and AR accounting, credit notes, refunds, and basic VAT principles
• Experience with payment gateways and high transaction volumes is an advantage
• Experience with e-commerce, retail, or multi-sales-channel environments is preferred
• Practical experience with Odoo is an advantage
• Meticulous, analytical, and able to take ownership
• Enjoy investigating discrepancies and improving/automating processes
• Good proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
