Description

You will own complex accounting tasks centered on inventory accounting—how stock is valued, recorded, and reconciled with warehouse records, including accurate COGS and handling of movements such as returns, write-offs, and inventory differences. The role also covers processing and reviewing domestic and international invoices and related costs (including landed costs like freight and duties). You will work in ERP Odoo and help set up and automate accounting and warehouse processes while supporting monthly and annual closings.

Responsibilities

• Inventory accounting & stock valuation

• Reconcile warehouse records with the accounting ledger; resolve discrepancies

• Process and verify invoices for goods, advances, and related expenses (domestic and international)

• Account for COGS and inventory movements: goods in transit, returns, write-offs, and inventory variances

• Ensure proper capitalization of procurement/landed costs (freight, customs duties, and other acquisition costs)

• Participate in monthly and annual financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations

• Collaborate with Operations and Fulfillment & Logistics on inventories and stock discrepancies

• Work with Product & Purchasing on correct product valuation and landed costs

• Work in ERP Odoo to configure and automate accounting and inventory processes

• Support the tax agenda within the accounting team, including VAT (DPH), OSS, RCM, and related topics

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting; able to manage complex topics independently

• Strong background in inventory accounting, inventory, and inventory valuation

• Understanding of the end-to-end flow from purchasing and receiving to sales, COGS, returns, and write-offs

• Knowledge of inventory accounting methods A and B and their impact on accounting and closings

• Experience with monthly and annual closings and VAT; OSS knowledge is an advantage

• Practical ERP Odoo experience is a major plus

• Ideally background from e-commerce, retail, FMCG, or distribution

• Detail-oriented, able to solve problems to completion, and able to communicate clearly across teams

• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets proficiency
