Description

You will provide friendly, practical IT support for internal users—especially around software, access, MacBooks, authentication tools, onboarding/offboarding, troubleshooting, and everyday IT questions. The role supports ticket-based requests, resolves access/login and authenticator/MFA issues, maintains endpoint devices and accurate asset records, and documents recurring problems to improve support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT support for internal users (software, access, MacBooks, authentication, installations, and troubleshooting)
  • Handle incoming support requests via tickets: prioritize, communicate clearly, and drive issues to resolution
  • Support application setup, permissions, access requests, login and account recovery
  • Troubleshoot authentication and MFA issues, including lost/replaced devices and login recovery
  • Assist onboarding with equipment, accounts, access, and software setup
  • Support offboarding and device handovers, including access removal and equipment return processes
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot MacBooks, monitors, docking stations, peripherals, and printers
  • Maintain device inventory and handover tracking (laptops, accessories, lifecycle status, returns/replacements)
  • Coordinate simple repairs, warranty cases, and vendor support for endpoint devices
  • Document recurring issues, troubleshooting steps, and internal how-to guides
  • Work closely with Infrastructure and Security to align IT support with security expectations

Requirements

  • IT support/helpdesk/workplace IT experience (about 1–2 years preferred) with a service-minded approach
  • Strong comfort with macOS and Apple devices (settings, updates, installation, peripherals)
  • Good software troubleshooting skills for installations, access, application settings, and login flows
  • Basic understanding of identity and access management (account access, MFA, approvals, offboarding discipline)
  • First-level networking awareness to troubleshoot WiFi/connectivity/DNS issues or escalate clearly
  • Clear communication in Czech and English
  • Strong organization and attention to detail for tickets, asset records, access requests, and documentation
  • Proactive mindset to identify patterns and prevent repeat issues
  • Technical education or equivalent practical experience is welcome
