Description

You will drive the optimization and further development of the production IT application landscape, implementing new solutions to sustainably improve business processes and productivity. As the main point of contact for the supported applications, you ensure reliable operation, installation, configuration, and performance. You analyze incidents systematically, handle fixes in 2nd/3rd-level support, coordinate implementation/maintenance/decommissioning projects, and act as the central interface between IT, business departments (e.g., production), and external partners with transparent stakeholder reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize and develop the production IT system landscape; implement new solutions
  • Own application operations including installation and configuration
  • Systematically analyze incidents and resolve issues in 2nd/3rd-level support
  • Ensure application performance
  • Take responsibility for projects for implementation, maintenance, and decommissioning; coordinate collaboration with other teams and external partners
  • Act as a central interface between technical IT, business departments, and external partners
  • Analyze business requirements and recommend technology investments to keep solutions up to date
  • Report operational progress and application performance transparently to relevant stakeholders

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable education
  • Knowledge of IoT, data analysis, and data visualization; technical understanding of MES, SCADA, and CAQ systems
  • Analytical thinking to precisely analyze complex processes and problems
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Good planning and organization of work processes
  • Experience in a manufacturing company (mandatory)
  • Willingness for occasional business travel
  • Very good German and good English skills
