Description

You will help build and expand a Production IT application landscape. The focus includes capturing and analyzing production-plant data and mapping manufacturing processes at the MES and SCADA level. You will serve as the main contact for the applications, ensure reliable operations and performance, and coordinate implementation and lifecycle projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive optimization and further development of the IT system landscape in Production IT by implementing new solutions.
• Manage the applications you support, including reliable operation, installation, and configuration.
• Systematically analyze incidents, fix issues in 2nd- and 3rd-level support, and ensure application performance.
• Take responsibility for projects related to application implementation, maintenance, and decommissioning; coordinate with other teams and external partners.
• Act as a central interface between technical IT, business departments (e.g., production), and external partners.
• Analyze requirements from business stakeholders and recommend investments in new technologies.
• Provide transparent updates on operational progress and application performance to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Knowledge of IoT, data analysis, and data visualization.
• Strong technical understanding of MES, SCADA, and CAQ systems.
• Analytical mindset for precise analysis of complex processes and issues.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing company (mandatory).
• Willingness for occasional business travel.
• Very good German and good English proficiency.
