• Role: IT Application Manager for Production IT (MES/SCADA/CAQ)

Description

You will build and advance the production-IT application landscape, mapping and analyzing manufacturing data on the MES and SCADA level, and ensuring the sustained optimization of business processes. As the main contact, you handle operation, installation, and configuration of the supported applications, systematically analyze incidents, and resolve errors via 2nd- and 3rd-level support while securing application performance. You also lead projects for implementation, maintenance, and decommissioning, coordinating internal teams and external partners and acting as a central interface between technical IT, production, and other business departments.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent training
• Knowledge of IoT, data analysis, and data visualization
• Comprehensive technical understanding of MES, SCADA, and CAQ systems
• Analytical thinking to precisely analyze complex problems and processes
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues
• Good planning and organization of day-to-day work
• Experience in a manufacturing company (mandatory)
• Willingness for occasional business travel
• Very good German and good English skills
