• Role: IT Application Manager (production-focused applications and interfaces)

Description

You will take responsibility for IT applications and interfaces in a production environment. You manage change requests, drive updates and release changes, and conduct feasibility analyses while translating business needs into technical requirements. You will provide 2nd-level support, configure and monitor workflows and interfaces, and support integration through testing, documentation, and user training.

Responsibilities

• Handle applications and interfaces and process production-focused change requests

• Own application responsibility; perform updates, release changes, and feasibility analyses

• Convert business requirements into implementation requirements; assess business and technical requirements

• Support the transition from requirements to technical specifications

• Provide 2nd-level support and closely coordinate with 1st-level, 3rd-level, and manufacturer support

• Advise and support business departments for the relevant applications

• Plan and execute maintenance activities

• Configure, support, and monitor technical workflows and interfaces

• Conduct functional and integration tests

• Plan and conduct key-user and end-user training

• Create documentation

Requirements

• Completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a similar qualification

• ERP knowledge, preferably Infor LN

• Good database knowledge, preferably Microsoft SQL Server

• Administrative experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products

• Conceptual thinking and strong analytical skills

• Structured, careful, and independent working style

• Team and communication skills

• Sense of responsibility

• Good German and English skills (written and spoken)
