Description

As a Professional Services Veterinarian, you will drive widespread adoption of higher standards of care and animal welfare. You will educate and influence veterinary colleagues and practice teams through lectures and roundtable discussions on small animal diseases, veterinary products/services, medical advancements, and practice management. You will also serve as the veterinarian voice for advising internal sales and marketing teams and act as an advisor to veterinary customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive higher standards of care and animal welfare adoption

• Deliver lectures and facilitate roundtables on the latest information related to small animal diseases and veterinary products/services

• Advise internal teams (sales and marketing) with veterinary perspectives and education

• Coach, train, and lead by adapting communication style to team needs

• Partner with an Area Business Manager to achieve area business strategy and objectives

• Advise veterinary customers in collaboration with the sales team and peers

• Support growth and protection of the veterinary industry, the business, and the brand through ongoing personal and professional development

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree

• Current and active veterinary license, in good standing

• Valid US driver's license

• 5+ years of experience as a veterinarian in companion animal general clinical practice

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Willingness and ability to travel for work (~70% travel)

• Occasional weekend and evening work
