Description

Own the specification, design, engineering oversight, and effective deployment of post-sales service offerings capabilities to support the business. Partner with business unit leadership to create saleable service features with design-ready specifications centered on desired customer outcomes—while minimizing delivery costs and improving profitability. Maintain the post-sales services roadmap, ensure readiness for new services, and drive continuous improvement and sunsetting/retirement of released services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular services business updates for key stakeholders, including BU leadership and quarterly ELT updates
  • Research user experience and needs, current market trends, and service functionality
  • Capture and filter unmet/under-served service capability needs based on business feasibility, scale, and ROI
  • Create saleable service features and deliver design-ready specifications focused on customer outcomes
  • Collaborate with Services Design Engineers to align service capability design to specifications
  • Incubate and validate services designs with Services Validation Engineers, including delivery to a limited set of customers
  • Maintain a post-sales services roadmap covering all business units and all phases of the services lifecycle
  • Support BU Offering Management for marketing and sales strategies, including pricing, sales enablement, and customer training
  • Be accountable for service readiness and engineering support for implementation into delivery functions
  • Own continuous improvement of released services through performance monitoring and improvement change orders
  • Support decisions to sunset services and execute retirement of applicable services

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience OR Master’s degree with 6 years OR PhD with 3 years (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years in T&M or Control and Automation or a relevant high-tech industry
  • Demonstrated success driving cross-functional alignment and execution
  • Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills
  • English proficiency in effective oral and written communication
  • Ability to travel ~20% to global services sites and customer locations as needed
  • Legal authorization to work in the US; no visa sponsorship
