Description

Start a 3-year apprenticeship as an IT System Electronics Technician focused on building, maintaining, and installing technical systems for security, ITK technology, and automation. The work is largely outdoors across railway sites, where you will learn network technologies ranging from copper to fiber. You will also support service technicians during regional assignments to build practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain technical systems for security and automation, including burglary and fire alarm systems, video and public address/audio systems, displays, hot-roller location systems, and various wireless technologies

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions on station grounds, in track areas, and in signal boxes

• Work with network technology from copper cabling to fiber optics

• Perform small installation and assembly tasks

• Accompany service technicians on assignments in the region and gain hands-on experience

Requirements

• School education completed (or soon to be completed) with a qualification recognized in Germany

• German language skills at least B2

• Strong manual/technical aptitude

• Willingness to work outdoors independently and responsibly

• Team-oriented and reliable work style
