Description

Join a 3-year apprenticeship to become an IT System Electronics Technician. You will build and maintain technical systems for security, ITK technology, and automation—working frequently outdoors in railway environments. Training also includes working with network technology from copper to fiber and supporting service technicians on regional assignments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain technical systems in security, ITK, and automation technology (e.g., intrusion and fire alarm systems, video and public address systems, displays, ticket machines, and hot-runner detection, plus various radio technologies)
• Work outdoors in all weather (e.g., on station grounds, in track areas, and in control rooms)
• Work with network technology ranging from copper to fiber optics
• Perform small assembly tasks
• Accompany service technicians on assignments in the region and gain hands-on experience

Requirements

• School qualification completed (or to be completed soon) and recognized in Germany
• German language skills at least B2
• Strong manual skills
• Interest in varied work
• Willingness to work independently and outdoors
• Teamwork and reliability
