Description

Start a 3-year apprenticeship as an IT System Electronics Technician. You will build and maintain technical systems in security, IT/communications technology, and automation, working outdoors across station areas, track zones, and control centers. You’ll also gain experience alongside service technicians on regional assignments, with strong takeover prospects after successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain technical systems in the fields of security, ITK technology, and automation
• Work with systems such as intrusion and fire alarm systems, video and public-address systems, displays, ticket vending machines, and hot-running locator systems
• Handle diverse wireless technologies
• Perform small assembly and installation tasks
• Work outdoors frequently, e.g., at station grounds, in the track area, or in operations/control centers
• Accompany service technicians on assignments in the region to gather practical experience

Requirements

• Completed (or expected) secondary education with at least Mittlere Reife (recognized in Germany)
• German language proficiency at least C1
• Strong manual dexterity
• Willingness to work outdoors and ability to work independently
• Comfort with varied tasks
• Teamwork and reliability
