Description

You’ll train as an IT-Systemelektroniker:in to help ensure safe, fast, and reliable rail service by building and maintaining technical systems for security, ITK technology, and automation. The apprenticeship includes outdoor work (e.g., on station premises, in track areas, and in signal boxes), working with network technology from copper to fiber, and assisting service technicians in the region.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain technical systems in the areas of security, ITK technology, and automation technology

• Work with systems such as intrusion and fire alarm systems, video and public address systems, displays, ticket machines, and hot runner detection systems

• Use networking technology from copper to fiber optics

• Perform small assembly tasks (minor installations)

• Accompany service technicians on regional assignments and gain practical experience

Requirements

• School education (soon) successfully completed; German-recognized school certificate

• German language proficiency: at least B2

• Strong manual/handcraft skills

• Enjoy variety in daily work

• Willingness to work independently and outdoors
