Description

You will train in the setup and maintenance of technical systems across security, ITK, and automation technology—working both indoors and extensively outdoors in railway station and track areas. The role includes working with network technology from copper to fiber, performing small installation/assembly tasks, and supporting service technicians on regional assignments. Strong chances of being hired after successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain technical systems in security, ITK technology, and automation technology
• Work with intrusion and fire alarm systems, video and public address systems, displays, ticket machines, and hot-roller detection systems
• Perform field work outdoors in wind and weather (e.g., station grounds, track areas, and control centers)
• Work with network technology from copper cabling to fiber optics
• Carry out small assembly tasks
• Accompany service technicians on assignments and gain practical experience

Requirements

• Successfully completed secondary school education (or will be completed soon) with a German-recognized school leaving certificate
• German language skills at least B2
• Practical hands-on skills
• Interest in a varied job and independent work outdoors
• Teamwork and reliability
