About the role

As an IT Project Manager, you will help shape, govern and grow the API Management Platform. The platform enables product teams across the Group to publish, secure, manage and consume APIs through standardized self-service tooling.

You will combine technical product ownership, compliance governance and customer enablement while working closely with engineering, security, compliance, architecture and customer teams. In this role, you will drive platform improvements, support regulatory and audit-related activities, and ensure customers can successfully onboard and leverage the platform.

How you will get the job done

• Own and manage product management activities for the API Management Platform, including backlog curation, prioritization and alignment with engineering teams.
• Coordinate compliance, regulatory and audit-related activities, including evidence gathering, security reviews and governance requirements.
• Support platform customers through onboarding, training and hands-on guidance.
• Help teams understand how to publish, secure, document and consume APIs using self-service tools.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams, product customers, security, compliance and enterprise architecture stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of developer experience, tooling, documentation and automation.
• Support the evolution of platform processes, standards and customer-facing guidance.
• Ensure alignment with organizational standards related to API security, identity management, cloud governance and operational resilience.

Skills and experience you will need

• Fluency in English (C1).
• Experience in product management, platform management or a related technology-focused role.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders across different functions.
• Ability to build strong relationships and influence decisions in a complex stakeholder environment.
• Ability to translate business, compliance and customer requirements into actionable priorities.
• Customer-focused mindset and passion for improving user experience.
• Effective collaboration within Agile teams and cross-functional environments.
• Ownership of initiatives and ability to drive them to completion.
• Adaptability to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Willingness to share knowledge, provide guidance and support others' success.

Nice to have

• Understanding of API management concepts, including REST APIs, API lifecycle management, API gateways and developer portals.
• Experience with Azure API Management, Azure cloud services or cloud-native integration patterns.
• Understanding of API security concepts such as OAuth2, JWT, access control and identity management.
• Experience using Git-based workflows, Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience in financial services, insurance or other regulated environments.
• Understanding of enterprise-scale platforms, self-service enablement models or GitOps approaches.
• Familiarity with governance, compliance or audit-related processes.
• Experience supporting customer onboarding, training or enablement activities.
• Experience with identity and access management concepts and operational governance frameworks.
