How you will get the job done

  • Manage mid- and large-size projects, with responsibility for budget, scope, quality and time, using an Agile approach and methodology.
  • Conduct risk and issue management, planning and monitoring mitigation measures and avoiding project impact.
  • Manage third-party service suppliers, product vendors and internal team members in a matrix responsibility model.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory rules, including regulatory requirements, policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure effective stakeholder and change management and provide appropriate status reporting.

Skills and experience you will need

  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong project delivery background in reinsurance and insurance IT project delivery.
  • Demonstrable experience successfully delivering critical and complex IT system-related projects.
  • Experience in data-center and cloud projects, including cloud migrations, data-center migrations and closures, and infrastructure and software upgrades.
  • Proven experience in Agile and classical/Waterfall software development and lifecycle methodologies, including Scrum, SAFe, PMI PMBOK and PRINCE2, as well as test management.
  • Demonstrable change project management experience.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in state-of-the-art information technology.
  • Ability to work with third parties and offshore development teams.

Nice to have

  • Written and spoken German.
  • Experience in the investment or asset-management industry.
