About the role

Lead a cluster team across the full application lifecycle, ensuring the stable and efficient development, enhancement, and operation of IT systems. Deliver measurable business value through consistent delivery performance, technical excellence, and people development across multiple locations, while aligning work with architectural and compliance frameworks.

How you will get the job done

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute the development, improvement, testing, and rollout of applications within the cluster in line with defined architecture and quality standards.
  • Ensure the maintainability, stability, and operability of assigned applications and platforms; support troubleshooting and resolution of defects and operational incidents.
  • Promote standard tools, development frameworks, and architectural principles to enable cost-effective delivery and strategic alignment.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to balance technical feasibility with business requirements.
  • Support project delivery by ensuring resource availability, technical readiness, and smooth transitions into operations.
  • Contribute to strategic technology and business initiatives within the cluster, ensuring compliance with IT security and data-protection requirements.
  • Manage collaboration with external service providers and delivery teams to ensure delivery quality and efficiency.
  • Lead and develop cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture and continuous knowledge sharing.

Skills and experience you will need

  • Fluency in English at C1 level.
  • University degree in insurance, business administration, mathematics, economics, business informatics, or computer science.
  • Several years of experience in the technology and/or finance industry, ideally in an international environment, particularly in insurance or IT consulting.
  • Strong understanding of website technologies, content management systems (CMS), digital architectures, integrations, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of IT applications and standards, including the ability to navigate interdependencies across systems and services.
  • Proven experience leading delivery teams with a focus on collaboration, continuous improvement, and team accountability.
  • Flexibility for occasional travel.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with a service-oriented approach toward internal partners.
  • Experience in vendor management.
