About the role

The IT sub-section Corporate Products HR is responsible for the global implementation of the HR Digitalization Roadmap, covering Employee Central, Compensation and Variable Pay, Learning, Payroll, Time Management, Recruiting, and Onboarding. The role is for an SAP SuccessFactors Consultant and Product Manager who will take responsibility for HR-related applications and contribute to their development.

As a Product Manager, you will manage HR-related applications, steer the demand process, and consult business colleagues on tactical and strategic topics. You will own and manage the product lifecycle, including functional releases and IT upgrades, to maintain compliance, performance, and fit-for-purpose business functionality. You will also be responsible for the secure, stable operation of the product and for product costs.

How you will get the job done

  • Drive digitalization and transformation projects, support global processes, and launch new tools.
  • Oversee product costs and budgets; manage external staff, procurement, and providers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient system solutions.
  • Implement changes and configure the system.
  • Partner with stakeholders to manage product roadmaps and backlogs, ensuring the product team delivers capabilities on time, on budget, and as expected.
  • Manage delivery processes, including requirements discovery, solution design, user-story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing.
  • Work across teams and global locations to align feature development and prioritization.
  • Monitor and evaluate product compliance and performance to enable continuous iteration and improvement.
  • Set up strategic product architecture based on Munich Re Group requirements and standards.

Skills and experience you will need

  • Fluency in English.
  • University degree, preferably in computer engineering, IT, business administration, liberal arts, social sciences, or a similar qualification.
  • At least 7 years of experience as an SAP SuccessFactors Consultant, with a strong focus on Employee Central, Compensation, and Variable Pay.
  • Experience in additional SAP SuccessFactors modules, such as EC Payroll, Time Management, or Onboarding, is preferred.
  • Strong technology understanding and the ability to articulate customer problems, solutions, and possible impacts.
  • Ability to act as a reliable partner for the HR department.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow security guidelines and best practices and collaborate with the ISO community to address identified issues.
  • ITIL or Scrum certification, or readiness to pursue certification with support, is preferred.
